Our Impact

In 2025, the organization financially supported 150 first responders through therapy referrals, Stellate Ganglion Block treatments, resiliency retreats, and additional supportive services totaling more than 554 treatments and recovery experiences. Our current projections for 2026 indicate the fund will financially support over 280 first responders with these same life changing services.

The organization also provided 51 trauma-focused workshops and peer support sessions in 2025, reaching audiences ranging from small departments to groups of more than 500 participants. Through these programs, first responders and their families are gaining greater awareness of PTSD, learning how to access care earlier, and finding community with others who understand the unique challenges of the profession.

Every presentation, treatment, retreat, and conversation reflects the mission that drives the Chip Terry Fund forward: Healing is Possible.

Noah’s Story

Since a young age, there was only one man that I tried to emulate and that was my father. While other kids my age had heroes like Ken Griffey Jr. or Carson Palmer, my hero has always been my dad, Chip Terry. Growing up I always heard the same lines coming from my dad, “Noah […]

Hannah’s Story

It has almost been a year since my dad took his own life. In reality, we lost my dad a few years ago. The man that I grew up with, loved and respected slowly disappeared. The last time I can remember seeing my dad truly happy was my wedding three years ago. He and my […]

Eli’s Story

To most people, Chip Terry was a brave, strong, well-respected leader, a real man’s man. He wasn’t afraid to run into a burning building, he could run a half marathon in 90-degree weather and was even pretty good behind a grill. To nine-year-old me, he was an invincible superhero. When kids talked about whose dad […]

Chris Sweeney’s Story

Three years ago my life changed for the worse. After 23 years as a Firefighter/Paramedic and many bad runs I had changed and not in a good way. I thought it was everyday stressors causing my unusual anger outbursts and depressed mood. Then the nightmares started. I was reliving a lot of bad runs from […]

Gratitude

Gratitude comes to us in many ways. At this time of year, we are thankful for the roof over our head, food in our bellies, our health and loving friends and family. Christopher has been kind enough to share his healing journey with us. We are blessed to have him and Kristian as part of […]
